We are a non profit organization dedicated to the prevention of drowning and catastrophic pool injuries through education, mentoring, and forensic investigation services. We are one of a few firms who specializes in providing pool investigation services with countless drowning and accident investigations in our 25 years of practice.
Additionally, we have helped implement laws that have saved lives throughout the country.
We provide aquatic safety and risk consulting services for pools water parks, water slides, open-water, lakes, beaches, and any other type of water venue or attraction. Unfortunately, children and children with autism are attracted to water and we must do our best to make pools and retention ponds as safe as possible.
A pool drowning can be caused by the smallest mistake and can happen in seconds. It can be an overworked parent who falls a sleep while leaving the door which leads to the pool unlocked. It could be a gate at pool not working properly at a condominium complex. It could be fencing installed with negligent access points to allow kids to jump over the fence and have access to the pool. It could be a product defect with the pool drainage. The pool could be an attractive nuisance that is being used by local kids but no trained supervision to prevent a tragedy. Pool drownings are 100 percent preventable if the appropriate steps are taken.
Be vigilant in every possible way. Always foresee the worst and you can take steps to prevent the pool drowning. Often the responsible party is a condo association or public pool that didn't take the steps to prevent a tragedy. The only way to stop drownings are tougher laws on pool owners to have safety measures in place.
